Our theme for 2023 is Compelled and is inspired from 2 Corinthians 5:14-15:

“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”

The first-century Christians were motivated by Christ’s love because His death was for all people (including us) and because one died for all of us, therefore all have died. This fact compelled them towards living for Him instead of themselves.

The word ‘compelled’ is defined as “driving or urging forcefully or irresistibly,” which is a great way to think about our response to Christ’s death: we should irresistibly stop living for ourselves but focus on Christ and glorifying Him in our lives, our families, and our communities.

We believe God is the Lord over all time, all earth, all creation, that the Bible is His love letter to us, and that He continues to work in our lives and speak to us through His Holy Spirit.

Biblical truth matters and that is what both men and women group of this generation should embrace. Study His Word and grow in faith today.

We believe He did this intentionally and in love, even though we all have struggles and sorrows, and even more so than any great parent, He will eventually work all things out for our good.

Bible study really matters if we want to know more about Him.

Don’t do it alone and study with us.
